Terms of Service
Last updated: May 7, 2026
1. Operator
These Terms of Service govern your use of Watchtower, an online monitoring, alerting, and intelligence service operated under the Watchtower name.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Watchtower, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities that occur under your account.
4. Permitted use
You agree to use Watchtower only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the service, its infrastructure, third-party services, or other users.
You are responsible for the websites, services, pages, prompts, channels, keywords, entities, and other targets you choose to monitor, including making sure your use of Watchtower complies with applicable laws and third-party terms.
5. Monitoring, AI visibility, AI QA, Human Voice, and Signals
Watchtower may provide website monitoring, page watching, alerting, AI Visibility Readiness, AI Visibility Watch, AI Visibility Optimizer recommendations, AI Answer QA Watch, Watchtower Human Voice, Watchtower Signals, evidence snapshots, summaries, scores, rewrites, and related product features.
AI Visibility Readiness, AI Visibility Watch, AI Visibility Optimizer recommendations, AI Answer QA Watch, Watchtower Human Voice, and Watchtower Signals are designed to provide practical visibility, writing-quality support, monitoring context, and decision support. They may include automated analysis, third-party data, public-web evidence, model-generated output, scores, confidence indicators, rewrites, or summaries. They are not guarantees of accuracy, authorship, detector results, availability, AI citation, ranking, business outcome, legal compliance, or future performance.
6. Billing and subscriptions
Some parts of Watchtower may require a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle, subject to the billing terms presented at checkout and the applicable refund policy.
For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and may handle payment processing, taxes, invoices, and order-related support. Watchtower remains responsible for providing the service features included in your plan.
Plans may include usage limits such as monitor limits, check intervals, retention limits, alerting options, Human Voice analysis and rewrite limits, AI Visibility Readiness access, active Signal limits, AI Visibility Watch limits, Optimizer recommendation access, Signal credits, or other fair-use controls. These limits may be shown inside the product, on the pricing page, or during checkout.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription according to the billing tools and cancellation options made available through the service. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not retroactively reverse charges already incurred, except where required by law or explicitly stated in the refund policy.
8. Service availability
We aim to provide a dependable service, but Watchtower is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Intellectual property
Watchtower, including its software, branding, text, graphics, and related materials, remains the property of its operator and licensors unless otherwise stated.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchtower and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
